The 1899 Farmhouse was amazing! It's such a beautiful venue, and when we booked them in the very begining they have already grown so much. The place is just so open you can do some much with the place! Everyone really helped out and went out of there way the day of the wedding to make sure everything was just AMAZING, and it was!

Our wedding was more perfect than we ever imagined it would be and it would not have been that way without the help and cooperation of you guys. My wedding at The 1899 Farmhouse was an absolutely wonderful experience. The owners are a husband & wife team, dedicated to helping couples achieve their dream wedding. I was able to be the creative person I wanted to be without limits. Guests are still commenting on how beautiful the Farmhouse was and how much they loved our wedding. I would definitely recommend the 1899 Farmhouse to any couple considering a quaint, rustic wedding. Thanks so much 1899 Farmhouse, my wedding wouldn't have been so special without you!

Shea Lyn and Richard are so accomadating and overwhelmingly genuine. They are kind and understanding. There are no corky out of the ordinary rules that you find at most venues and they do anythings they can to make you feel comfortable with your experience. I truly cannot express how much you guys really helped me and Randy through this hectic time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The 1899 Farmhouse is a remarkably versatile and beautiful venue. They truly strive to make every detail of an event perfect and are SO accommodating. From the picturesque gazebo amid the tall trees to the huge covered reception space (plenty of room for a band, dancing, and dining) the Farmhouse is a fantastic space to celebrate!

I was the wedding planner for a March 2010 wedding. It was just wonderful! We had more guests than expected, but everyone was able to adapt. Richard and Shea Lyn were awesome! They offered freedom in areas that meant a lot to the bride and family. We found them very easy to work with as well as just being pleasant and friendly people.

The wedding was on the front porch, which was beautiful for pictures. The reception was in the back area. The day went so very well for all of us.

The volume increase in the number of guests was our only concern, but because of the openness of the venue, space was not a problem.

I highly recommend the 1899 Farmhouse as a wedding/reception venue.
You will not be disappointed.

I absolutely adore this venue and Shea Lyn & Richard that run it. I got married in May 2009 and it was a blast. They were laid back and easy to work with, while at the same time very professional. They made me feel like family. They take a lot of pride in their venue and work very hard to make everything perfect.

We had the best experience working with Shea Lyn and Richard! We were one of the first weddings at the 1899 Farmhouse, but you couldn't tell. They were on top of things more than I was! Shea Lyn would call to ask me questions about set up, times, what we would like to use where, how she can help, etc. We must have gone out to visit the site about ten times before the actual wedding, and Shea Lyn or Richard would gladly be on site to answer questions and help. Due to the rain, we didn't get to have our wedding in the area in front of the house as we had planned. But it worked out in our favor! We were married inside the pavilion and then just moved the tables after the ceremony. It was perfect!!! Our wedding photos come out AMAZING because of the 1899 Farmhouse. We were able to utilize our love for being out in the country with having an elegant and fun wedding to top it off. We couldn't have asked for more and are extremely grateful for finding this venue. It was everything we could have asked for and more!! Now my friend's sister is getting married there in September. I would hightly recommend the 1899 Farmhouse to anyone for any occasion. Diedre
